First Lady draws big crowd to Morgan State University

First Lady Michelle Obama is in Baltimore Friday.

Just three months after her husband held a series of fundraisers in the area, Mrs. Obama is proving she is one of the most effective campaigners the president has.

The First Lady spoke at Morgan State University.

Fundraiser supporters gathered on campus for several hours before the event where 2,000 people purchased tickets for the private reception and the First Lady's speech at the Murphy Fine Arts Center on campus.

Supporters had their choice of tickets with prices ranging from $100, $5,000 to $10,000.

Guests include Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Gov. Martin O'Malley, a large number of Congressman, senators and a lot of everyday Marylanders who just couldn't pass up the chance to see the First Lady speak in person.

The First Lady also heads to another fundraiser a concert and reception at Robert Meyerhoff's House in Baltimore County.?
