Berlusconi staying in politics to 'reform Italian justice system' | The ...

Silvio Berlusconi has vowed to stay in politics in order to reform the Italian judicial system which sentenced him to jail for tax fraud.

The former Italian prime minister called the verdict an ?intolerable? political ruling, and warned: ?There are going to be consequences.?

Mr Berlusconi?s conviction yesterday came two days after he announced that he would abandon attempts to make a political comeback. But today, he told TG5, a television station that he owns: ?I feel obliged to stay in the field to reform the planet justice.?
